This is an example of a Kilim Rug. Kilim is a flat tapestry-woven carpet. Weaving can take place on nearly any type of loom. All of the kilim rugs sold at Cicim Hali are hand-woven.

This is an example of a rug with Cicim design. Cicim is a method of embroidery that is frequently done between the threads of a plain kilim weave.

All of the cicim rugs sold at Cicim Hali are hand-embroidered.

This is an example of an authentic Turkish carpet. Carpets are different than kilims in that each knot is individually tied, rather than the entire piece being woven.
